SK Vietnam, operating as SK Group's private equity taskforce in Vietnam, oversees assets worth approximately $2 billion in VIC, MSN, IMP and Pharmacity. We are currently seeking investment interns to join our investment team, starting from May in Hanoi office. Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting market/sector/company research and analysis;
- Assist in market mapping to identify potential investment targets in the relevant sectors;
- Assist in carrying out commercial due diligence on investment opportunities and evaluation of key drivers and commercial assumptions;
- Assist in managing and reviewing the work of third-party due diligence (e.g. financial, commercial, technical & legal);
- Collect and review financial and other information from portfolio companies in order to monitor progress;
- Liaise with portfolio companies on ongoing corporate actions, identify potential problems in portfolio companies and recommend remedial actions.
Requirements
- Penultimate students or fresh graduates with top academic credentials with degree emphasis on Finance, Economics, and Investments;
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed;
- Thorough knowledge of Excel (modeling skills required) and ability to conduct independent research by utilizing Capital IQ, Thomson, Bloomberg, etc. ;
- Proactive and fueled with entrepreneurship;
- Be proactive on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative;
- Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task;
- Fluency in oral/written English is a must;
- Able to commit to (at least) 3-month full time work schedule.
